The Titanic 2 is scheduled to set sail in 2016. Funded by Australian billionaire Clive Palmer, the Titanic II will be a near identical duplicate of the original.
The ship will host 2,600 passengers who will be given 1920s costumes to wear on the voyage. Palmer has debated whether or not to include modern amenities such as cable and Internet to keep with times of the 1920s. He has stated that the ship will feature air conditioning, which will be pleasant for those in the boiler room. An exact cost of the tickets has not been announced, however some believe they may reach roughly $1 million.
Inspired by the Titanic 2, Courtney Scharf gives viewers the top Titanic replica products that will keep the memory of the sunken ship alive for years to come.
