# Spy-Inspired Shirt Stays The Tital Multi-tool Collar Stays Define Practical Fashion By Matt Ho | Published 2011-09-25 | Fashion Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tital-multi-tool-collar References: [dornob](http://dornob.com/secret-agent-shirt-stays-titanium-multi-tools-for-menswear/) & [exuvius](http://www.exuvius.com/) Shirt stays aren’t items people normally pay attention to, and most could do without them; however, the Tital Multi-tool Collar Stays are an accessory that many could use when the time comes. Much like a regular shirt stay, the Tital Multi-tool Collar Stays help secure the fabric in place so that everything looks fine and dandy. So what sets this apart? This accessory in particular is made from [featherweight titanium](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/titanium-edc-tool), for starters. Then there’s the design itself, as this collar stay actually doubles as a [multifunctional tool](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/timav-nextool). The pointed end can function as a screwdriver, which may not be needed, but you never know. The rear functions as a [bottle opener and a cutting tool](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sliding-doubleended-edc-tool) for loose strings. Not a bad way to go for the handy person who feels the need to have tools on them at all times. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.1/10 - Popularity: 33% | Activity: 52% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Fashion](https://www.trendhunter.com/fashion) > [Jewelry](https://www.trendhunter.com/jewelry) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Featherweight Titanium Accessories:** This trend offers an opportunity for companies to create lightweight and durable accessories using titanium, providing customers with practical and stylish options. - **Multifunctional Fashion Accessories:** The rise of multifunctional fashion accessories like the Tital Multi-tool Collar Stays opens up possibilities for innovative designs that serve multiple purposes, combining practicality with style. - **Incorporating Tools Into Apparel:** Integrating tools and functional elements into everyday apparel, such as the screwdriver and cutting tool found in the Tital Multi-tool Collar Stays, can bring added value and convenience to consumers. ### Who This Affects Most - **Fashion Accessories:** The fashion accessories industry can explore the production and marketing of lightweight titanium accessories with multifunctional features, catering to practical and fashion-conscious consumers. - **Outdoor and Adventure Gear:** The outdoor and adventure gear industry can incorporate lightweight titanium accessories with built-in tools, providing campers, hikers, and outdoor enthusiasts with functional and space-saving options. - **Tool and Hardware Manufacturing:** Tool and hardware manufacturing companies can explore partnerships with fashion brands to create functional fashion accessories that incorporate their tools, expanding their customer base and market reach. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Metallic Multitool Wallet Cards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ekster-tool-card.md) - [Stylish Titanium Multitool Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fulcrum-mini-titanium-pocket-tool.md) - [Micro Metallic Multitools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/titanium-fire-starter-and-multitool.md) - [Tool-Integrated Smartwatch Straps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tilink-titanium-multifunction-edc-bracelet.md) - [Multitool Titanium Carabiner Clips](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/titanium-carabiner-keychain.md) - [Metallic Capsule EDC Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multifunctional-titanium-tool.md) - [10-in-One Tracker-Friendly Multitools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airtag-multitool.md) - [Minimalist Titanium Multi-Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wesn.md) - [EDC Tool Bracelets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tilink.md)
