Drew used [old civil war-style photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nikons-vintage-popup-diner) in order to give a realistic feel to who his team is. Each soldier had to sit still for six to ten seconds in order to transfer the image onto the tin. Then, an additional 40 seconds was needed before the [final print](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polaroid-trance-camera) was done. Drew wanted to keep the photos as natural as possible, so in case anything were to happen to him, his son would be able to see who he was with when he passed.
