In this video, we get to see the exact process of a snowflake forming, up close and personal. The video is called Snowtime and was made by Vimeo user Vyacheslav Ivanov. The video is set on a black background and the snowflakes are illuminated. The backdrop versus the imagery of the snowflake makes the snowflakes pop even more as the backdrop is in stark contrast to the snowflake on the forefront. The timelapse snowflake goes from literally nothing and slowly forms itself into its completely one-of-a-kind design in a slowed down matter so you can see every detail. The entire process was caught by a microscope -- for those who are wondering how one can catch a snowflake in the act. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.0/10 - Popularity: 12% | Activity: 41% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Internet](https://www.trendhunter.com/internet) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Timelapse Videos:** Opportunity for businesses to create captivating timelapse videos that showcase unique processes and phenomena. - **Microscopic Imaging:** Opportunity for industries to explore the use of microscopic imaging to capture and study intricate details. - **Aesthetic Visuals:** Opportunity to use contrasting backgrounds and lighting to highlight the beauty of natural formations. ### Where This Applies - **Video Production:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for video production companies to specialize in creating visually stunning timelapse videos. - **Scientific Research:** Opportunity for scientific research institutions to leverage microscopic imaging techniques for studying natural phenomena. - **Photography:** Opportunity for photographers to experiment with contrasting backgrounds and lighting techniques to create visually striking compositions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Time-Lapse Content Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/timelapse-content.md) - [Global Snow Forecast Websites](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/follow-the-snow-today.md) - [Process Visualization Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/velocity-lapse.md) - [Pristine Snowflake-Mimicking Timepieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grand-seiko-1.md) - [Time-Lapse Creation Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/photojourney.md) - [Visual Timelapse Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/selfiestory.md) - [Artful Activism Shows](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/snowflake-exhibition.md) - [Dynamic Video Backdrops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fluidmotion.md) - [Illusory Snow Globe Decorations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/invisible-snow-globe.md)
