Using Photoshop, Grelle substitutes the natural earthly background of these images and replaces them with a time-warped, [sci-fi style image](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/freeze-dried-dog-treat). These photographs are absolutely hilarious. The dogs' faces are stretched grotesquely and flap in the wind, creating a caricature of these precious pooches that viewers won't be able to stop laughing at. The simplicity of the idea and the juxtaposition of wind-swept dogs with galactic backdrops results in great comedic effect. These time-warp dogs form a [fun and unique photo series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/petpic-ai) that is sure to put Grelle on the map and garner a lot of attention for his [canine friends](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/merry-chaos). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.0/10 - Popularity: 65% | Activity: 77% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Humor](https://www.trendhunter.com/humor) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Time-warp Photography:** Using digital manipulation, photographers can create unique and humorous images by warping time and space. - **Pet Portraiture:** Artists and photographers are finding new and entertaining ways to capture the personalities of pets, attracting a growing market of pet owners. - **Comedic Visual Arts:** Artists are using humor and satire in their creations to engage and entertain audiences in the visual arts. ### Where This Applies - **Photography:** Photographers can offer specialized services in time-warp photography, catering to clients who want fun and unconventional portraits. - **Pet Industry:** The pet industry can leverage the popularity of unique pet portraiture to develop merchandise and services that appeal to pet owners seeking personalized experiences. - **Art and Entertainment:** Art galleries and entertainment companies can support comedic visual arts by showcasing and promoting artists who bring humor and satire into their work. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Holographic Pet Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/holographic-pet-accessories.md) - [AI Pet Photo Generators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pawfoto.md) - [Time-Altering Digital Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/time-machine-feature.md) - [AI Pet Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drawmypet.md) - [Dog-Focused Retail Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/i-love-you-like-a-dog.md) - [Dog Lover Browser Extensions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/daily-woof-moments.md) - [Dog-Themed Meeting Avatars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/doge-meet.md) - [AI Pet Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pet-lens-ai.md) - [Puppy Dating App Giveaways](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/puppy-dating-app-giveaways.md)
