These [prefabricated timber apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/prefab-house-changeover) occupy a plot, overlooking a park, in Stockholm. Dubbed '79 & Park,' the design proves to be aesthetically pleasing, open, and flexible. Thanks to the construction and production practices, [Bjarke Ingels Group](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/museum-for-papirkunst) was able to ensure an affordable development.

There is a total of 196 timber apartment units and each one has access to a [shared roof terrace](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-park) that is covered in green. This marks yet another attempt from the architecture industry to infuse the urban city with some sense of nature. Each volume of living abodes has a different height and at its peak, the complex reaches 35 meters. Bjarke Ingels Group designed the space "as an inhabitable landscape of cascading residencies."
