As though stepping into a comical home worthy of a [Pixar](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disney-creator-ambassador-program) animated film, the tilting tables are designed in such a way as to look like their spill the items placed on top without actually letting such a mishap occur. Designed by Federico Churba for Swedish studio Karl Andersson & Söner, the tilting table collection is comprised of three sizes, all of which come with [removable tray surfaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/taso-tray-table). Supported by steel frames, the tilting tables are as chic and stylish as they are playful and quirky. They are made out of HI-MACS Alpine White stone and are great as [side tables in the home](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/swivel) or even at the office. Although simple in general, the designs make an impact. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.3/10 - Popularity: 45% | Activity: 16% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Tilting Furniture:** A trend of furniture designed to have a deceptive lean, adding a playful and quirky touch to living spaces. - **Removable Tray Surfaces:** A trend of tables with removable tray surfaces, allowing for easy customization and versatility in design. - **Playful Minimalism:** A trend of minimalist designs with a touch of playfulness, creating impact through simplicity. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture Design:** The furniture design industry can explore innovative ways to incorporate deceptive leans and removable tray surfaces in their products. - **Interior Design:** The interior design industry can incorporate playful minimalism into their projects to create visually stunning and unique spaces. - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can embrace tilting furniture designs to offer customers a playful and functional addition to their living spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Terrazzo Side Table Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/balance-side-table.md) - [Playful Wavy Table Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wavy-table-design.md) - [Playful Accent Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bug-table.md) - [Curvaceous Abstract Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pet-table.md) - [Geometric Cutout Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/designated-table.md) - [Illusory Cracked Base Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/conceptual-side-table.md) - [Moveable Wave-Inspired Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/side-table-concept.md) - [Fabric-Like Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tablecloth-side-table.md) - [Textile-Topped Table Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tumble-tables.md)
