# Cartoonish Portraits Tiago Hoise's Art is Whimsical and Fun By Annie Ho | Published 2010-07-18 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tiago-hoise References: [sweet-station](http://www.sweet-station.com/blog/?p=12506) & [hoisel.zip.net](http://hoisel.zip.net/) São Paulo, Brazil has one wacky artist by the name of Tiago Hoise. In the gallery, you will find some of his art, which features a cartoonish, [wacky twist](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/anima). My favourite one has to be the sumo wrestler sizing up the karate kid. Tiago Hoise's work also includes a caricature of President Obama and a [whimsical family dinner](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/7-paintings-the-art-of-dining). Hoise is also a fan of [animal animation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portrait-mom) too, as his art includes dogs, cows and a chicken. If you like fun art, then I recommend you hop over to his site and check out more of his art. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.2/10 - Popularity: 48% | Activity: 41% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Whimsical Art:** Utilize whimsical and cartoonish elements in artworks to create playful and imaginative pieces. - **Caricature Illustrations:** Explore caricature illustrations to add humor and personality to portraits or figures. - **Animal Animation:** Incorporate animated animal characters in artworks for a fun and lighthearted aesthetic. ### Who This Affects Most - **Art and Design:** Opportunity for artists to create unique and visually engaging artworks that appeal to individuals seeking a whimsical and fun atmosphere. - **Illustration Services:** Provide caricature illustration services for individuals looking to add a humorous touch to their portraits or designs. - **Animation and Entertainment:** Develop animated content involving animal characters to entertain and engage viewers, offering a light-hearted and enjoyable experience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Limited Humorous Art Prints](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/david-shrigley-1.md) - [Stylized Portrait Generators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/face-to-all.md) - [Raunchy Anime-Inspired Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/manuela-soto-sosa.md) - [Playful Doodle-Emblazoned Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sam-cox.md) - [Whimsical AI Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clayify.md) - [Whimsical Character Ceramics Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/danza-collection.md) - [Human Duality-Themed Abstract Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/passive-aggression.md) - [Wooden Light-Hearted Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dream-sculpture.md) - [Pop Art-Style Blocked Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-in-red.md)
