Mosseri clarified that Threads currently borrows fact-checked ratings from Instagram and [Facebook](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/made-with-ai), but this does not benefit content that originated on Threads. The tool is expected to function similarly to the Community Notes tool on [Twitter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/twitter-4), which allows verified fact-checkers to either vouch for, or show evidence against, the validity of a post.
