Boy, does Thom Browne have some stylishly confusing tricks up his sleeves. Thanks to the New York City-based fashion designer, short shorts are back, but it’s not how you think. A) they’re being worn in winter and B) they’re being designed for *guys*!

Thom Browne has never been one to dress the ordinary, but with people watching their wallets more closely, are people really going to be shelling out for Nordic-print short-short suits like the ones he showed in his Fall 2009 show? The pieces looked like they were designed for fashionably daring (or confused) men on a job hunt somewhere in the far north. Perhaps a tribute to Iceland’s economy?

Regardless of its peculiarity, the Fall 2009 Thom Browne collection was one to marvel at!
