The [thermal camera system](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/thermal-imaging-innovation) works by being set up at business entryways and will provide administrators with a way to effectively track the temperature of all the people who come through. The system can effectively detect up to 12 body temperatures at the same time in order to allow for a steady stream of people to enter the building without losing sight of safety. The Amcrest Thermal Body Temperature Camera System can be paired with an optional [facial recognition system](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aienhanced-security-camera), and has a siren and strobe light to alert users when a high temperature is detected. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.2/10 - Popularity: 51% | Activity: 66% | Freshness: 9% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Multimedia](https://www.trendhunter.com/multimedia) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Thermal Body Temperature Tracking:** Opportunity to develop advanced thermal camera systems for tracking body temperature in real-time, enhancing safety measures. - **Facial Recognition Integration:** Potential for integrating facial recognition technology with thermal cameras to establish a more robust security system. - **Multi-target Temperature Detection:** The need for innovative camera systems capable of simultaneously detecting and monitoring the body temperature of multiple individuals. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Healthcare:** Innovation opportunities to apply thermal camera systems in healthcare settings to monitor patient temperatures and enhance infection control measures. - **Transportation:** Disruptive potential to implement thermal body temperature tracking systems in airports, train stations, and public transportation hubs to identify individuals with high temperatures for early intervention. - **Retail:** Opportunity for retail businesses to ensure customer safety by using thermal camera systems to monitor body temperatures at store entrances and prevent potential virus transmission. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Health-Tracking Key Fobs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portal-vital-monitor.md) - [Contactless Smartphone Thermometers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tempbuddy-smartphone-thermometer.md) - [Pro-Grade Thermal Imaging Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/infrared-thermal-camera.md) - [Temperature-Tracking Pet Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-pet-camera.md) - [Non-Contact Smart Thermometers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hiitcheck.md) - [Accessible Smart Security Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/abode-cam-2.md) - [Heat Detection Doorbells](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-wireless-video-doorbell.md) - [App-Driven Thermal Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flir-ixx.md) - [Thermal Camera Fire Detectors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/early-fire-detection-sensor.md)
