Designed by Australian illustrator and graphic designer Mark Eastwood, the X-Men themed playing cards deck is not only cool because of the [Marvel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/comic-book-heros) superheroes it depicts, but because of how vibrantly colorful and funky it is. Still working on continuing his artistic playing cards project, Eastwood is planning on using every X-Men character to make sure he doesn't skip any fan favorites. So far his Wolverine, Professor Xavier and Magneto ones are looking amazing -- so good in fact that they could work as eclectic artwork set up next to each other. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.6/10 - Popularity: 59% | Activity: 41% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Celeb Products](https://www.trendhunter.com/celebproducts) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Themed Playing Cards:** Opportunity for creating playing cards with unique and popular themes to attract niche markets. - **Superhero Merchandise:** Disruptive innovation opportunity in creating vibrant and funky merchandise featuring popular superhero characters. - **Artistic Card Deck Designs:** Opportunity to create visually stunning and creative card deck designs for collectors and enthusiasts. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Gaming and Entertainment:** Creating themed playing cards for gaming enthusiasts and fans of popular entertainment franchises. - **Merchandising and Licensing:** Producing merchandise featuring superhero characters to cater to the demand of fans and collectors. - **Art and Design:** Developing visually appealing and unique card deck designs as a form of artistic expression. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Comic-Inspired Gaming Consoles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xmen-97-xbox.md) - [Superhero Headquarter Puzzle Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xmansion.md) - [Magician-Designed Playing Cards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mystery-playing-cards.md) - [Comic Book Hero Collectibles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/comic-book-heros.md) - [Mid-Century Modern Playing Cards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eames-playing-cards.md) - [Superhero-Inspired Wristwatches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/deadpool-and-wolverine-1.md) - [Collectible Cosplay Condiments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heinz-ketchup-and-mustard.md) - [Superhero-Inspired Virtual Fireplaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xmen-97-fireside.md) - [Indie Game Playing Cards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/balatro-playing-card-deck.md)
