Hardcore gamers know all too well that their standard [MacBook](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/intel-panther-lake) is inadequate for handling serious PC games, but 'The Wolfe' wants to eliminate the need to buy a separate gaming computer. The external graphics card is a [Thunderbolt](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ag01) accessory that transforms [MacBooks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/case-x) into graphics-processing dynamos that can play serious video games and VR content.

MacBooks don't claim to be able to function as gaming computers. Rather, the laptops are sold as portable devices with good battery life. On the other hand, dedicated gaming computers are great with graphics but are also clunky and have weak batteries. The Wolfe keeps the benefits of the MacBook intact while also turning it into a machine with equal processing power when compared to most gaming laptops on the market.
