Dick Clark + Associates designed the 'Waterfall House,' a single-family home located in Austin, Texas.

The house is located far from the hustle and bustle of west Austin; however, the architects managed to incorporate the city's impressive skyline into the design, offering homeowners a [stunning view](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apartment-with-a-view). The house balances on a [raised foundation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-av), while the main spaces are oriented towards the eastern facade in order to access the views. The architects employed material continuity to achieve a coherent transition between the indoor and outdoor spaces, laying down a tile floor that spills inside, as well as installing sliding doors that open out from the living and dining areas. The [negative-edge pool](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/red-rock) works to further frame, and enhance, the skyline.

Overall, this beautifully designed house offers its inhabitants the opportunity for hybridized urban-rural living.
