The beautiful object was designed by Castor Design for the 'Compact Living' show, which aimed to celebrate interior design pieces created to optimize tiny urban living spaces. The Voong is a two-tone [porcelain vase](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/navazi) that boasts a textured copper band around the neck of the vase, which matches the copper bowl. All three holes of the Voong can be used to hold flowers when it is not being used as a smoking apparatus. A reference to both the cluttered living conditions of urban dwellers and the global push toward marijuana legalization, the Voong is sure to mark a turning point in history. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.0/10 - Popularity: 83% | Activity: 59% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Compact Living:** Creating dual-purpose objects for optimizing tiny urban living spaces. - **Hybrid Design:** Combining different functionalities into a single product. - **Marijuana Legalization:** Designing products that cater to the growing use of marijuana. ### Where This Applies - **Interior Design:** Opportunity for creating innovative furniture and accessories for compact living spaces. - **Ceramics:** Exploring new materials and techniques to create versatile and functional ceramic products. - **Cannabis:** Developing unique and stylish smoking accessories that align with the evolving cannabis industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Flower-Inspired Bong Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flower-vase-bong.md) - [Speaker-Equipped Flower Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blooming-product.md) - [Sculptural Bong Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-bong.md) - [Minimalist Illusory Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vaso-gota-vase.md) - [Luxury Limited-Edition Bongs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flower-by-edie-parker.md) - [Chic Transparent Glass Bongs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/transparent-glass-bong.md) - [Copper Tubular Minimal Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hiroyuki-yuasa.md) - [Connection-Inspired X-Shaped Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vaax.md) - [Topographically Accented Smokeware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vessel-helix.md)
