The Verbalizer inspires out-of-the-box-thinking when it comes to the new Google Voice Search. Speaking to a computer and actually getting a response, no matter how basic that response is, should be more exciting than it currently is. The Verbalizer makes it so.

Developed by New York-based interactive agency Breakfast, the Verbalizer is an [open-source dev platform](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/autovibedev) that connects wirelessly, via bluetooth technology, to one’s computer, allowing new ways of interacting with the Google Voice Search. Featuring [old-school microphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gboard-dial), big buttons and even genie lamps, an introductory workshop video shows all that is capable thanks to the Verbalizer.

**Implications** - The Verbalizer, an opensource dev platform for the Google Voice Search, lets people embrace a new age of technology. Instead of using what is given to them, the Verbalizer allows individuals to actually creatively contribute to what is currently being developed in the tech world.
