Designed by Amy Mon-Chu Liu for the [Electrolux Design Lab](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kitchen-appliance-hub), The Treat was one of the 2012 top ten finalists in a contest.

This concept addresses the problem of food storage in this day and age, when people are finding themselves pressed for time and lacking in necessary space. The Treat is a food tree that combines practical functionality with aesthetically pleasing design. The stylish white tree structure features elegant branches, on the ends of which are spherical pods. Each pod is an [air-tight food container](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/totem) that not only holds onto your meals, but will also heat them up for you when you send a remote signal through your smartphone.

Have warm meals ready to eat when you get home when you use The Treat.
