# Boxing Ring Beds The Throwdown Bed is a Wrestling Ring for a Little Fighter By Allison Love | Published 2010-07-02 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-throwdown-bed References: [bornrich.org](http://www.bornrich.org/entry/throwdown-bed-for-your-little-tyson/) & [wermma](http://www.wermma.com/kids-throwdown-cage-bed.html#) I'm sort of wishing they created the Throwdown bed when I was little, because this would have been one seriously cool bed to sleep in every night. The Throwdown bed is essentially a boxing/wrestling/UFC ring bed, which comes equipped with all the perks of a real ring including mesh caging, foam padded railings and synthetic leather. But my personal favourite part of the Throwdown bed would have to be the stairs leading up to it. It looks like a mini stage to perform on! I love it and can't imagine the fun I would have had on this when I was little. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.9/10 - Popularity: 48% | Activity: 91% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Combat-inspired Furniture:** Opportunities exist for designing unique furniture pieces that draw inspiration from boxing, wrestling, and UFC. - **Sports-themed Bedrooms:** There is potential for the creation of sports-inspired bedrooms that cater to young children, especially those interested in combat sports. - **Interactive Kids Beds:** Designing interactive kids beds that stimulate creativity and imagination can be a major trend in the furniture industry. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture:** The furniture industry can capitalize on the demand for unique, interactive and sports-themed beds for young children. - **Home Decor:** Home decor companies can create sports-themed bedroom decor and accessories to complement the boxing ring beds, targeting families with young children. - **Children's Toys:** Toy companies can also venture into the production of interactive, combat sports-inspired furniture for kids to promote imaginative play at home. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Candy-Dispensing Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sweet-sleep-bed.md) - [Drone-Themed Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drone-themed-bed.md) - [Reversible Mid-High Bed Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/big-eyes-bed.md) - [2-in-1 Toddler Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/piccalio-bedbed.md) - [Modern Comfort-Centric Rounded Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roundish-bed.md) - [Ergonomic Gaming-Centric Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drift-gaming-bed.md) - [Sliding Desk-Equipped Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/boomerang-bed.md) - [Fairytale-Inspired Bed Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/circu-mr-bunny-bed.md) - [Ultra-Modern Bunk Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flexy-junior-bed.md)
