# Feline-Locating Stickers The StickNFind Makes It a Cinch to Find Lost Keys and Pets By Michael Hines | Published 2012-12-03 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-sticknfind References: [indiegogo](http://www.indiegogo.com/sticknfind) & [indiegogo](http://www.indiegogo.com/sticknfind) Habitual key losers and wallet forgetters are exactly who the StickNFind is designed for. The tiny sticker is about the size of a quarter and is equipped with a [Bluetooth sensor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aircard-pro-and-airnotch-pro). The sticker works with a smartphone app to help you locate everything from [your wallet](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tracking-card) to [your cat](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whisker-tracker). The StickNFind works in three different ways. First, you can use it to locate lost items using a radar. The app can't tell you exactly where an item is, but it will let you know when you're near it. The second way the sticker works is through the "virtual leash" feature. This feature alerts you when leashed items travel farther away from your phone than a distance which you pre-set for them. The final feature is called "Find It." This feature alerts you when you're in range of stickered items (the StickNFind has a range of 100 feet). The StickNFind is currently seeking $70,000 of funding (it already has about half of the money) on Indiegogo. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.4/10 - Popularity: 78% | Activity: 75% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Bluetooth Tracking Technology:** The StickNFind utilizes Bluetooth sensors and smartphone apps to easily locate lost items. - **Virtual Leash:** The StickNFind's virtual leash feature alerts users when leashed items travel too far away from their phone, preventing loss or theft. - **Proximity Alert:** The StickNFind's proximity alert feature notifies users when they are within range of stickered items, making it easy to locate them. ### Who This Affects Most - **Smart Home Technology:** The StickNFind's Bluetooth tracking technology can be incorporated into smart home systems, providing enhanced security and convenience. - **Pet Tracking:** The StickNFind's virtual leash feature can be applied to pet collars, allowing owners to monitor their pets' location and prevent them from getting lost. - **Retail and E-commerce:** The StickNFind's proximity alert feature can be used in retail environments to create interactive shopping experiences, directing customers to specific products or promotions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [QR Code Tracker Stickers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tile-lost-and-found-labels.md) - [Sleek Compact Tracker Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pebblebee-tag.md) - [Self-Locating Wallets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/esr-geo-wallet.md) - [Low-Cost Subscription-Free Item Trackers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lost-and-found-id-tag.md) - [QR-Code Pet Tracking Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ring-pet-tag.md) - [Low-Cost Card-Style Trackers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gps-tracker-card.md) - [Phone Locator Alerts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fingerfind.md) - [Finder Trackers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chipolo-one-point.md) - [Ultra-Slim Wallet Trackers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chipolo-card-point.md)
