Designed and conceived in partnership between Friends of the High Line, James Corner Field Operations and [Diller Scofilio + Renfro](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/canal-cafe), the Spur is a conceptual [round garden](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-round-pavilion) in the middle of New York. The proposed design would be for the final stage of the New York's High Line's development. This idea features an immersive green bowl, a [dense green space](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/belvedere-park) that would change throughout the year.

The Spur will be a secluded space for tranquility that will offer startling contrast to the hustle and bustle of Manhattan's urban area. The metropolitan getaway will include a variety of plant life as well as an extension of the current rail yard loop. The Spur is set to be completed in late 2014.
