The collection includes 9 different patterns (all pictured above) and seem to be inspired by different cities throughout the world, like Bombay, Brussels, Paris, among many others. Against a dark colored wall, these unique [projecting lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shapes-of-light) can create a nice soft ambiance for an intimate party or even for a quiet night in. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.1/10 - Popularity: 21% | Activity: 3% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Shadow Projection:** Opportunity for creating immersive and customized lighting experiences by projecting dynamic shadows onto various surfaces. - **City-inspired Design:** Opportunity to incorporate city-themed motifs and aesthetics into lighting products for a unique and visually striking effect. - **Ambient Lighting:** Opportunity to design lighting fixtures that offer a soft and cozy ambiance, enhancing the atmosphere of different spaces. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Interior Design:** Disruptive innovation potential in developing lighting solutions that merge functionality with artistic expression, transforming the way spaces are illuminated. - **Event Planning:** Opportunity to utilize pattern projecting lights to create immersive environments and enhance the overall experience of events and parties. - **Hospitality:** Potential for incorporating pattern projecting lights in hotel rooms and lounges to create unique and memorable guest experiences, adding a touch of luxury and comfort. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Geometric-Shaped Wall Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/impulse-wall-light.md) - [Wall-Mounted Ambient Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ikea-varmblixt-collection.md) - [Eclipse-Inspired Whimsical Pendant Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/space-traveler.md) - [Emotional Light Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/miror-collection.md) - [Suspended Mirrored Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mirror-collection-1.md) - [Tornado-Inspired Illuminator Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/storm-lamp.md) - [Mushroom-Inspired Sleek Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lunar-lamp-concept.md) - [Organically Shaped Shadow Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loops-lamp.md) - [Stunningly Intricate Light Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shapes-of-light.md)
