The design of the Runner Table is to use the abstract design decor as an integral part of the table's structure. For example, the runners on the table actually turn into the table's legs making them inseparable. The legs turn into decor, but also an innovative way to mix together design ideas and techniques. The Runner Table is inventive and unique, adding some flair to any dining room area with this interesting approach to furniture. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.5/10 - Popularity: 67% | Activity: 61% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Innovative Table Design:** The Runner Table from Duffy London showcases an innovative approach to furniture design by integrating the abstract decor as an integral part of the table's structure. - **Seamless Integration of Design and Function:** The Runner Table demonstrates the disruptive potential of combining design and functionality by transforming the table's decor into its legs, creating a visually striking and cohesive piece of furniture. - **Flair in Dining Room Decor:** The Runner Table offers an opportunity for business professionals to tap into the trend of unique and attention-grabbing dining room decor, providing an innovative and eye-catching addition to any space. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture Manufacturing:** The Runner Table highlights a disruptive innovation opportunity in the furniture manufacturing industry to explore creative ways of integrating design elements into the functional aspects of furniture. - **Interior Design:** The seamless integration of design and function in the Runner Table presents a disruptive innovation opportunity for interior designers to create visually striking and cohesive spaces that leave a lasting impression on clients. - **Home Decor Retail:** The Runner Table's innovative approach to table design offers a compelling opportunity for home decor retailers to differentiate their product offerings and attract customers looking for unique and attention-grabbing pieces for their dining rooms. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Colorful Contemporary Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/runda-tables.md) - [Striking Limited-Edition Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/limitededition-coffee-table.md) - [Wooden Table-Inspired Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tidone.md) - [Interlocking Puzzle-Like Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/connect-table.md) - [Elegant Table Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tangent-table.md) - [Splintered Storage Console Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flitter-console-table.md) - [Moveable Wave-Inspired Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/side-table-concept.md) - [Origami-Inspired Lit Table Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightup.md) - [Desert-Like 3D-Printed Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dune-coffee-table.md)
