Even the name is retro: The Roxy. OK, it's a [music player](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/victrola-soundstage), which is becoming retro, but if you are into this design theme, this can become the center conversation piece. Plus, it has a [three speed turntable](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/korg) for retro use, but also has a USB which allows for compatibility with your [iPod](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/classipod). Mix the old and the new for about $290. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.4/10 - Popularity: 14% | Activity: 49% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Retro Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop retro-inspired products with modern functionalities for nostalgic consumers. - **Multi-functionality:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create products that combine different features or capabilities to cater to diverse user needs. - **Affordable Retro Tech:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design and manufacture affordable retro-inspired technology products for a wide consumer market. ### Where This Applies - **Consumer Electronics:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Introduce innovative consumer electronics products that appeal to retro-loving consumers. - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop retro-themed home decor products that blend vintage aesthetics with modern functionality. - **Audio Equipment:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create technologically advanced audio equipment that appeals to both audiophiles and retro enthusiasts. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Affordable Retro Record Players](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/respin.md) - [Stylish Suitcase Turntables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mixx-revival-55.md) - [Retro Colorful Turntable Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brad-retro-mkii-turntable.md) - [Retro-Inspired Music Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/victrola-century-6in1-record-player.md) - [Futuristic Old-Fashioned Phonographs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/re-retro-player.md) - [Artistic Affordable Turntable Models](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uturn-orbit.md) - [Ultra-Modern Record Players](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-record-players.md) - [Modern Vintage-Inspired Turntables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/henry-turntable.md) - [Style-Conscious Record Players](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/upright-vinyl-record-player.md)
