"For years, one of the biggest barriers in Hawaii has been that consumers needed a 329 medical cannabis card to access our therapeutic products," said Anella Saito-Takabayashi, Director of Retail Operations at Maui Grown Therapies. "With The Remedy Bar, people can finally access trusted plant-based options without the administrative hurdles that have kept so many from trying them." The Remedy Bar is operated by [Maui Grown Remedies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/maui-mama-melt), founded by the team behind Maui Grown Therapies, Hawaii's first licensed medical cannabis dispensary. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.1/10 - Popularity: 9% | Activity: 10% | Freshness: 43% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Health](https://www.trendhunter.com/health) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Hemp-based Experience Bars:** Hemp-based experience bars offer an innovative way for consumers to explore therapeutic products without legal or medical barriers, fostering a broader acceptance and use of hemp products. - **Non-prescription Wellness Solutions:** Non-prescription wellness solutions are expanding access to alternative health products, providing a pathway to holistic health care for those seeking natural remedies. - **Educational Retail Spaces:** Educational retail spaces provide an interactive and informed shopping experience, creating opportunities for brands to educate consumers on product benefits directly. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Cannabis and Hemp Retail:** The cannabis and hemp retail industry is evolving to include guided discovery experiences, allowing consumers to make informed decisions and overcome regulatory obstacles. - **Alternative Medicine:** Alternative medicine is increasingly incorporating accessible hemp products, facilitating greater public adoption of natural health solutions. - **Experiential Retail:** Experiential retail is gaining prominence with guided product explorations, transforming traditional shopping into an informative health and wellness journey. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Chic Cannabis Boutiques](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-hemp-company-by-curaleaf.md) - [Hemp-Derived Gummy Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/doctorformulated-edibles.md) - [Hemp-Infused Product Marketplaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ediblescom.md) - [Dispensary-Specific POS Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flowhub-maui.md) - [Clarifying Cannabis Refreshments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hempbased-beverage.md) - [Expanded Hemp-Derived THC Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hempderived-thc.md) - [Rum-Inspired Hemp Beverages](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mxxn-barbados-blanco.md) - [Crispy Matcha Edibles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/matcha-crispy-rice-bar.md) - [Beneficial Lifestyle Cannabis Drinks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wana-beverages.md)
