The space is a veritable funhouse that serves as a sharp contrast to the [busy urban environment](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/park-house) beyond its doors and though the dominantly white aesthetic might at first suggest sterile, adult-oriented minimalism, it couldn't be farther from that. The Rainbow House features a rotating bed, a psychedelic staircase, a slide accessed by a trap door and plenty of space to run and play culminating in a home that is friendly to all ages. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.3/10 - Popularity: 39% | Activity: 23% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Playful Living:** Designing living spaces with playful elements and features, leading to happier and more enjoyable living experiences. - **Rainbow Aesthetics:** Incorporating bright, bold, and vibrant colors into architecture and interior design, creating visually striking and attention-grabbing spaces. - **Interactive Design:** Creating living spaces that encourage interactive experiences, such as rotating beds, hidden passages, and unique staircases, to improve overall satisfaction and engagement. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Real Estate:** Incorporating playful and interactive design elements into newly-developed residential and commercial properties, creating unique selling points and enhanced customer experiences. - **Interior Design:** Focusing on rainbow aesthetics in a range of interior design projects, from residential properties to public spaces, providing visually-pleasing and Instagrammable environments. - **Hospitality:** Embracing playful living concepts, interactive design, and rainbow aesthetics in the design of hotels, resorts, and other commercial spaces, enticing customers with unique and unforgettable experiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Office Building Rainbow Facades](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vertical-rainbow-office.md) - [90s-Inspired Vibrant Home Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/holboro-house.md) - [Vibrantly Colored Retro Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yellow-house.md) - [Colorfully Transformed Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/slatuinenweg.md) - [Ultra-Playful Studio Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bright-workspace.md) - [Whimsical Family Home Renovations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/2lg-studio.md) - [Lively Transformed Vibrant Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-buondelmonti.md) - [Playful Apartment Makeovers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/onda-apartment.md) - [Colorfully Bright Hillside Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/canary-house.md)
