Strom Architects have designed the '[Quest House](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ramblenook-camper),' a home located in a heavily wooded site that affords a view of a nearby country park. The architects objective was to maximize the home's view while minimizing its impact on the sensitive location.

The architects made good use of the [sloping site](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oeiras-house), locating the parking area on the lower front section of the plot to ensure the view is not spoiled by a driveway full of cars. The parking area is further shielded by a [cantilevered segment](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/westview-residence) of the home which protrudes over it.

The home is constructed out of exposed concrete, timber and glass walls, complemented by the stone chimney breast. The single-storey residence features a dynamic, open-concept floor plan. The kitchen and dining area is located at the center, framed by the bedrooms.
