The Pool Luminary is essentially an [underwater disco ball](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colorpipes), flashing [multicolored LED lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightboks) along the bottom of your pool. Never again will your pool party consist of just [inflatable inner tubes and noodles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/olive-garden-pool-noodles). The Pool Luminary can also be programmed to float, just in case your bathtime fun needed an extra splash of colour. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.2/10 - Popularity: 44% | Activity: 45% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Underwater Light Shows:** Opportunity for businesses to innovate by creating immersive underwater light shows for pools and other water-based venues. - **Underwater Disco:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for companies to develop underwater disco ball products that bring the party to the pool. - **Pool Party Entertainment:** Opportunity for businesses to provide unique and interactive entertainment options for pool parties with underwater LED light displays. ### Where This Applies - **Swimming Pool Equipment:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for companies in the swimming pool equipment industry to develop and market underwater LED light fixtures for added entertainment value. - **Event Planning:** Opportunity for event planning businesses to incorporate underwater light shows and disco balls into pool party events, providing a one-of-a-kind experience for attendees. - **Leisure and Entertainment:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for businesses in the leisure and entertainment industry to create immersive underwater light show experiences as a unique form of entertainment. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Illuminated Bright Pool Surfaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vetrite.md) - [Elevated Pool Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ledge-partypad.md) - [Music-Synced Party Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jbl-partylight.md) - [Water-Based Entertainment Drones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arivia-watersurface-drone.md) - [Solar-Powered Pool Monitoring Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solarpowered-pool-monitoring.md) - [Colorful Poolside Art Inflatables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cdm30.md) - [Disco Light-Replicating Illuminaries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flasher.md) - [Omnidirectional Bike Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vis-lightpool-taillight.md) - [Immersive LED Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jbl-pulse-5.md)
