# Abstract Musical Tribute Art 'The Pixles' by Jonathan Lewis Pays Homage to The Beatles By Jessica Marcel | Published 2010-03-31 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-pixles References: [art-milk](http://art-milk.com/jonathan-lewis/) & [jgdlewis](http://www.jgdlewis.com/The) Artist Jonathan Lewis was inspired by the legendary group [The Beatles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-beatles-x-crocs-classic-clog) to create this series of [pixelized art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pixelart-lab) titled, 'The Pixles.' Each pixel-filled square is based on a song. The abstract representations are good for the songs, since each Beatles song says a lot more than any realistic painting could portray. Above are the pixelized versions of Magical Mystery Tour, Yellow Submarine and Help.
