'The Pavilion' in Johannesburg will be made by David Adjaye, and aims to bring about a [cultural awareness](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tselinny-center) in the area.

The design is temporary, and is set to be built in an area where the [public space](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/de-wachtkamer) isn't used as much as it could be. A train station is nearby, making it an area where people are constantly coming and going, but never taking a second to appreciate the area. The hope is that [this pavilion](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a-capsule-in-time) will give people something to look at and focus their attention on. Not only will it offer a break from everyday life, but also provide an opportunity for interaction between visitors.

David Adjaye is a well-known architect, and his proposed design will certainly gain recognition once it's complete.
