London-based interior designer Tala Fustok was tapped to help design a four-bedroom space on the fourth floor of a Victorian mansion dubbed the Palace Gate apartment. It is right in the city's Hyde Park in the Kensington and Chelsea borough. The theme is to channel a relaxed element with a 'calm sanctuary feeling as soon as one enters the space.

Tala Fustok talks about the inspiration to Dezeen, stating "I wanted to create a calm sanctuary to balance the hustle and bustle of the city and the owner's lifestyle. Our client is an [ardent traveller](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hotel-de-sagonne), frequenting North Africa and copious European cities. We wanted to ensure this was reflected in the design, as a sort of escapism and bringing a dose or reminder of those settings to their [London home](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rufford-mews-apartment)."
