The bed actually folds away into a tiny little square that you could probably use as extra seating if you needed to. The Ottobed is quite colorful, giving a pop of color to any room. I'm not entirely sure how comfortable the Ottobed would be, but coming with a pillow and a mattress of sorts, it can't be all that bad for a [foldable bed](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/florin-court-flat). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.6/10 - Popularity: 48% | Activity: 82% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Foldable Furniture:** The Ottobed's innovation highlights the potential benefits and popularity of foldable furniture. - **Multipurpose Furniture:** The Ottobed's ability to function as a bed and ottoman highlights the potential of multipurpose furniture. - **Space-saving Furniture:** The Ottobed's ability to fold down to a small square exemplifies the potential demand for space-saving furniture. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Manufacturing:** The Ottobed presents an opportunity for furniture manufacturers to create innovative, space-saving, and multipurpose furniture. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can incorporate foldable and multipurpose furniture like the Ottobed into their space-saving designs. - **Hospitality:** The Ottobed's space-saving and multipurpose design make it an ideal option for hospitality businesses providing a comfortable place to sleep and save space. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Overhead Storage Single Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/otto-cobbo-bed.md) - [Hidden Murphy Bed Sofas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tonale-murphy-bed.md) - [Motorized Sofa Wall Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tonale.md) - [Sliding Desk-Equipped Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/boomerang-bed.md) - [Storage-Friendly Origami Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-kerf.md) - [Comforting Adaptable Sofa Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baby-bird-reincarnation-3way-sofa-bed.md) - [Adaptive Furniture Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/expand-furniture.md) - [Space-Saving Convertible Sofas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coddle-luke-sleeper-sofa.md) - [Ultra-Modern Bunk Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flexy-junior-bed.md)
