'The Other Volcano' is one of the most intriguing [art projects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/black-void) I have ever seen. This volcano was designed by Nelly Ben Hayoun as an [active volcano](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tuff-pencil-cabinet) that you would live with until it erupted.

'The Other Volcano' would go through all the motions of a regular volcano, including rumbling and then finally exploding into eruption. Hayoun wanted to see how living with a volcano would impact a person's day-to-day life. Would they live in fear of the volcano or welcome it with open arms? Personally, I'd probably put it in the backyard -- but that's just me.
