The Molecular Chair is a highly unusual design created by Antonio Pio Saracino. The miniature balls that covers the [baroque style chair](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coliseum-chair) is meant to represent microscopic matter.

The Italian designer says his creation aims to "cross the boundaries between scientific knowledge and expressive design." The chairs were created by making a mesh frame from twisted wire and then covering it with [recycled woollen balls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ruffini). Not only do these chairs look great, but the balls also provide a lot of cushion. This creative masterpiece was produced by the Italian manufacturer Polimodel.

These [odd-looking chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/atypical-chair) have a certain eclectic charm to them. They would certainly make a bold statement in a classical dining room.
