The organization system starts off with a [grid-like base](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-grid) that can be paired with a number of different components for segregating small essential items like [writing utensils](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pareto-pot) and more. The porous slip-cast concrete build of the system means it can easily withstand water, while also being suitable for keeping small plants nearby for a touch of naturalistic beauty. 'The Mesh' by Shift desktop organizer is ideal for workstations, but can also be used around the house to add in additional storage space for small everyday essentials. This could work to enhance daily routines and provide users with a dedicated place to position all of their essentials. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.2/10 - Popularity: 82% | Activity: 66% | Freshness: 9% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Concrete Desk Accessories:** Create new designs of desk accessories using sturdy materials such as concrete for modern workspaces. - **Multipurpose Desk Organizers:** Invent desk organizers that serve both functional and aesthetic purposes for individuals in diverse environments, such as workstations, living rooms, and bedrooms. - **Naturalistic Desk Decor:** Introduce desk decor elements that feature porous slip-cast concrete, allowing users to add in small plants near their work area for a naturalistic feel. ### Where This Applies - **Office Supplies:** Produce sturdy and stylish desk organizers that professionals can use in their modern workspaces, helping to create a minimalist and tidy aesthetic. - **Home Decor:** Create diverse multipurpose organizers that can be used in living rooms and bedrooms to store small everyday essentials and decorative items. - **Floral Arrangements:** Invent stylish desk organizers that blend into home interior design and allow users to add in small plants that create charming floral arrangements on their desks. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Vertical Desk Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tower-desk1.md) - [Carved Timber Workstation Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/organization-kit.md) - [Stackable Tower Workstation Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cyl-desk-organizer.md) - [Customizable Desk Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/customizable-desk-organizers.md) - [Clutter-Tackling Desk Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/customizable-desk-organizer.md) - [Wooden Magnetic Desktop Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oakywood-oakyblocks-magnetic-modules.md) - [Modern Modular Desk Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/firki.md) - [Building Block Wall Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wall-organizer-and-messfree-planter.md) - [Adaptable Organizer Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-square-organizer.md)
