# Cycladic Holiday Homes The Hug House Offers Expansive Views of the Naoussa Bay By Madison Mackay | Published 2018-03-05 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-hug-house References: [uncrate](https://uncrate.com/hug-house/) & [re-act.gr](http://www.re-act.gr/hug-house/project-43-en) React Architects created The Hug House, a contemporary home that features classic Cycladic architecture. Placed on the side of a rocky slope on Greece's Paros Island, this holiday home is wrapped in natural stone -- embedding itself into the surrounding landscape. Made up of two cubed structures and clad in a white plaster facade, each house is connected by a shared terrace. The center of the home features a modern rectangular swimming pool that extends towards the coastline. The design team decided to use a large windowed wall, offering expansive views of the Naoussa Bay in the main living space. The Hug House by React Architects blends indoor and outdoor living seamlessly.
