I think it's safe to say that Matta's initial objective was completed. I have been [gaming for years](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nintendo-classics-virtual-boy) and haven't seen anything like the Grilltendo grill before. I wonder if it'll be serving up Koopa burgers on Bowser buns. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.2/10 - Popularity: 21% | Activity: 37% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Food](https://www.trendhunter.com/food) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Gamer-inspired Grilling:** Creating grills that are inspired by popular video games, offering a unique and fun cooking experience. - **Personalized Grilling:** Designing grills with customizable features to cater to individual preferences and create a sense of personalization. - **Nostalgic Gaming Accessories:** Developing gaming-related accessories that tap into nostalgia, combining the love for gaming with everyday activities like grilling. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Outdoor Cooking Equipment:** Opportunity to create innovative grills and outdoor cooking equipment that appeal to gamers and add a unique twist to the cooking experience. - **Kitchen Appliance Manufacturing:** Potential to incorporate gaming-inspired designs and features into traditional kitchen appliances, attracting a new segment of consumers. - **Entertainment and Gaming Merchandise:** Chance to expand the range of gaming merchandise to include unique accessories like gamer-inspired grills, catering to fans' desires for novelty and collectibles. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Smart-Enabled Electric Grills](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/current-model-g-dualzone-electric-grill.md) - [Multifunctional Outdoor Grill Ranges](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cuisinart-outdoors.md) - [Old-Fashioned Toolbox Grills](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retro-blaze-charcoal-grill.md) - [Game-Ready Fry Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gamifries.md) - [Theatrical Electric Grills](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-teppanyaki.md) - [Wood-Fired Griddle Grills](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/recteq-smokestone-600.md) - [Grill-Topped Portable Firepits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-firepit.md) - [Air-Circulating Outdoor Grills](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ninja-woodfire-outdoor-grill.md) - [Pro-Grade Griller Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grill-tools.md)
