# Pixelated Furniture Collections The Ghost Collection Explores Digital-Inspired Furniture Design By Amy Duong | Published 2026-07-24 | Lifestyle Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-ghost-collection References: [instagram](http://instagram.com/albertoessesi/) The Ghost Collection is a furniture series by designer Alberto Essesi that combines polished aluminum with solid walnut to explore the visual contrast between high- and low-resolution forms. Each piece pairs smooth, reflective metal surfaces with precisely crafted wooden bases composed of staggered, pixel-like blocks, creating furniture that references digital imagery through material construction rather than decoration. The collection includes a console table, ottoman, wall bar and sculptural objects that balance geometric forms with refined craftsmanship. Designed as [collectible furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colendra), the series highlights the relationship between digital aesthetics and traditional woodworking through carefully finished materials and [contrasting textures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/touch-collections). Mirror-polished aluminum introduces fluid, contemporary surfaces, while hand-crafted walnut elements add warmth and dimensionality through block-based compositions. Presented in gallery-style installations, the collection examines how familiar pixelated forms can be translated into functional objects.
