The EcoBrolly is a unique environmentally friendly umbrella that makes use of discarded newspapers. Essentially a disposable umbrella, the EcoBrolly means no wet umbrellas dripping all over you in the office, and encourages recycling.

While newspaper is ideal, the EcoBrolly can become a functioning eco-umbrella in moments with anything from [plastic bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/versatile-bags-for-essentials), folders, or [paper towels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reusable-paper-towel).

The EcoBrolly was designed by Shiu Yuk Yuen for central Londonders, where she lives herself. The clever design is a chic sustainability supporting alternative to [regular umbrellas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/original-duckhead), which can't, by the way, be replaced after a particularly windy storm.

Shiu Yuk Yuen has said she was inspired to create the EcoBrolly due to the unpredictability of the weather in Britain.
