The Eat Table is a [slide/table hybrid](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pony) that allows kids to exert some pent-up energy before meals by climbing up the side of the slide before they sit down in the center for a meal. The table in the middle features grooves for plates and utensils, so [kids can eat properly](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/high-chair). Once they're done, the children can slide back down the outside of the Eat Table and continue their [playground antics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/archipelago-playscape). Studio Klass knows just how to please the youngsters. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.7/10 - Popularity: 49% | Activity: 55% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Alpha - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/toys) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Multifunctional Furniture:** Designing furniture that serves multiple purposes, such as a slide and table hybrid, is growing in popularity among parents and children. - **Interactive Furniture:** Interactive furniture that encourages movement and play in children is becoming increasingly popular and sought after. - **Customized Play Spaces:** Parents are increasingly investing in customized play spaces to encourage their children's creativity and imagination. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture:** Furniture companies can innovate by designing more interactive and multifunctional furniture for children's play and learning. - **Childcare:** Childcare centers and schools could incorporate more interactive furniture designs to enhance children's learning and creativity. - **Home Design:** Designers can offer more customized play spaces for families at home to encourage children's playtime and imagination. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Development Childhood Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/table-and-chair-set.md) - [Convertible Kids Ladder Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/convertible-helper-tower.md) - [Playful Modular Kids Sofas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/twiny-sofa-system.md) - [Single-Piece Wooden Chair Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/slide-table-1.md) - [Modular Chromatic Child Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kidzilla-chair.md) - [Kid-Friendly Kitchen Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/studio-eggi.md) - [Rocking Table-Mounted Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/espattio-platero-rocking-table.md) - [Table Manners-Teaching Tableware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baby-tableware.md) - [Transforming Child Stool Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flipflap-childrens-chair.md)
