A MacGyver-like invention, Dewlighting essentially provides light and water collection while you adventure (or survive) outdoors. Used as a [portable torch](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/onurhan-demir) or a [hanging light](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nature-inspired-pendant-light), when hung its flexible sack [collects water droplets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/planto). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.2/10 - Popularity: 26% | Activity: 32% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Outdoor Survival Gear:** The Dewlighting presents an opportunity for companies to create more portable and multi-functional survival gear for outdoor enthusiasts. - **Eco-friendly Inventions:** The Dewlighting is an example of an eco-friendly invention that repurposes natural resources, presenting an opportunity for companies to focus on more sustainable designs. - **Multi-functional Objects:** The Dewlighting's ability to serve multiple purposes presents an opportunity for companies to create more versatile and efficient products in a variety of industries. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Outdoor Recreation:** Companies in the outdoor recreation industry can benefit from creating more innovative and multi-functional gear for adventurers and survivalists like the Dewlighting. - **Sustainable Design:** The Dewlighting presents an opportunity for companies in the sustainable design industry to create more eco-friendly products that repurpose natural resources. - **Home Decor:** The Dewlighting's unique design as a hanging light could present an opportunity for companies in the home decor industry to create more innovative and functional lighting options. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Telescoping Outdoor Lanterns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/devos-outdoor-lightranger.md) - [Outdoor Lantern Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/camping-lantern-1.md) - [Mood-Setting Adventurous Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/guidelight.md) - [Multipurpose Camping Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/camping-lights.md) - [Fireplace-Inspired Campsite Lanterns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/leacco-camping-lantern.md) - [Stylish Outdoor Illumination Lanterns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-outdoor-lantern.md) - [Balloon-Shaped Exterior Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/seedevil-balloon-lights.md) - [Saltwater-Powered Lanterns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/litepulse-ecolantern.md) - [Collapsible Emergency-Ready Lanterns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tomori-lantern-kit.md)
