The dog house features simple construction achieved with only three main parts: a weighted base, an [internal cushion](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wyrmwood-doublesided-dog-bed) and an A-frame cover. The base provides just the right level of support for small dogs, while the upper cover features a metallic internal form and felt on the exterior for a touch of softness. The 'Cottage' dog house is suitable for being used with or without the cover to allow for a semi-enclosed design or an open-air feel. This design also allows the components to be easily cleaned between uses. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.2/10 - Popularity: 92% | Activity: 83% | Freshness: 12% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Pets](https://www.trendhunter.com/pets) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Simplified Pet Accessories:** Designing simplified and minimalist pet accessories provides an opportunity for manufacturers to appeal to consumers in search of a modern and unobtrusive home aesthetic for their pets. - **Modular Pet Homes:** Creating modular and multi-functional pet homes enables manufacturers to meet the demand for customizable and adaptable pet products that can be tailored to the needs and preferences of both pets and owners. - **Eco-friendly Pet Products:** Producing eco-friendly and sustainable pet products presents significant opportunities for manufacturers to tap into the growing market of environmentally conscious and socially responsible consumers. ### Where This Applies - **Pet Accessories:** The pet accessories industry can benefit from catering to consumers seeking sophisticated and modern pet products while still meeting their pets' needs. - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can incorporate pet accessories that are designed to suit contemporary home decor, appealing to buyers who desire a cohesive and unified look. - **Sustainable Manufacturing:** Sustainable manufacturing companies can partner with the pet industry to create innovative and eco-friendly pet accessories and products for pet owners looking to minimize their environmental impact. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Chic Plywood Dog Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooffy.md) - [Pleated Designer Dog Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/issey-miyappy-tessellations.md) - [Flexible Plywood-Made Pet Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tuto-pet-house.md) - [Off-Grid Dog House Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dog-house-prototype.md) - [3d-Printed Modern Dog Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dog-hut-side-table.md) - [Workplace-Friendly Doghouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/barc-dog-kennel.md) - [Bauhaus-Inspired Mobile Doghouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bowowhaus.md) - [Geodesic Dome Dog Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/domehome-dog-bed.md) - [Rollable Bell-Shaped Dog Kennels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/poochchair.md)
