Tom Dixon recently unveiled the Comet Lamp at Art Stage Singapore.

In collaboration with [Veuve Cliquot](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chasing-the-sun-1), Dixon designed the Comet Lamp, which is inspired by the Champagne brand. The lamp is made entirely out of cardboard boxes that have been formed into a [geometric beauty](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-lighting-design). The inspiration behind the shape are Veuve Cliquot's five branched emblems. The Comet lamp's figure was also inspired by a comet sighting in France in 1881.
