The connected piece of furniture was inspired by the simple aesthetics that are achieved through designing for [compact living spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bookmarker-table). Bijou features one [curvaceous metal rod](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polyshape) that stems from a small coffee table, up into a lamp with an integrated LED head. The light can be rotated 180 degrees, giving the user a range of flexibility despite the design's seemingly fixed components. The tabletop was made with a gorgeous stone, adding an element of elegance to any home. The adaptable design offers a universal chicness that could complement any home's interior. Both beautiful and practical, Bijou, was designed for the space-conscious consumer who won't compromise convenience for visual aesthetics. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.1/10 - Popularity: 44% | Activity: 41% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Hybridized Home Furniture:** Creating furniture designs that combine multiple functionalities to maximize space and convenience in compact living areas. - **Integrated LED Lighting:** Incorporating LED lighting into furniture designs to provide both practical illumination and stylish aesthetics in contemporary homes. - **Adaptable and Versatile Designs:** Developing furniture pieces that can be easily adjusted or transformed to suit different needs and interior styles, offering flexibility to consumers. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Opportunity for furniture companies to explore hybridized designs that cater to the growing demand for space-saving solutions in urban areas. - **Lighting Design:** Emerging market for integrated LED lighting fixtures that seamlessly blend with furniture, enhancing the ambiance and functionality of living spaces. - **Interior Design:** Designers can utilize adaptable furniture designs to optimize small living spaces and create visually appealing and functional interiors for clients. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Elegant Compact Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-table-light.md) - [Hybrid Aesthetic Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hyobodo-fuoco.md) - [Dual-Position Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/furniture-design-concept.md) - [Conical Multifunctional Lamp Units](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-table-light.md) - [Sleek Modern Table Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-lighting-instruments.md) - [Customizable Lighting Retail Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luminaire-authentik.md) - [Sleek Smart Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mindduo-2.md) - [Curvaceous Animalistic Coffee Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bookpet-coffee-table.md) - [Bold Playful Lighting Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/little-lebow-table-lamp.md)
