# Convertible Baby Buggies The Babyoom Grows With Your Child By Michael Hines | Published 2010-08-29 | Unique Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-babyoom References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2010/08/26/the-everlasting-baby-pram/) Hopefully all strollers in the future will be designed like the Babyoom. This stroller is designed to carry your baby around, wheel him around, and eventually become a shopping cart! Everyone’s a winner. The Babyoom was designed by Jeong Haedong and Bae Junseong. Having a stroller that converts into a tricycle is a great idea, but converting that tricycle into a shopping card is an even better idea. Now the Babyoom will retain its worth long after your child has grown up. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want to have kids just so that I could own the Babyoom. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.1/10 - Popularity: 85% | Activity: 91% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Alpha - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Inventions](https://www.trendhunter.com/inventions) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Convertible Baby Buggies:** The trend of creating baby buggies that can transform into different functional products, such as tricycles or shopping carts. - **Long-term Value:** A trend of designing products that retain their value and functionality even as a child grows up. - **Multi-functional Design:** The trend of creating products that serve multiple purposes, providing convenience and versatility for consumers. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Baby Product Manufacturing:** The industry that designs and produces baby strollers, buggies, and related products. - **Children's Transportation:** The industry focusing on transportation solutions for children, including strollers, tricycles, and bikes. - **Retail:** The industry that can benefit from selling multi-functional products like convertible baby buggies in their stores. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Stroller-Equipped Suitcase Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/easy-journey-travel-case.md) - [Collapsible 5-in-1 Strollers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/liki-trike-midnight-edition.md) - [Toddler-Convertible Cots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/parry-cot.md) - [Modern Transformative Child Walkers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jumbo-walker.md) - [Stroller-Equipped Suitcase Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/easy-journey-suitcase.md) - [Compact Urban Strollers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bugaboo-dragonfly.md) - [Modular Childhood Furniture Pieces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crib-concept.md) - [Adaptable Modern High Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bugaboo-giraffe.md) - [All-Terrain Child Strollers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/evenflo-pivot-xplore.md)
