The duo turns their attention to classic cured meat and cheese sandwiches as the visual influence. As a result, the capsule is defined by a palette of rich burgundy and pink tones for a chic feel. Proba explores a new angle of creativity that is rooted in her use of color. She notes “There’s not many opportunities for me to explore less color, just because people expect me to always do color. I love color, my house and everything is full of color, so it’ll never be colorless in my world. But there’s a lot of passion I have in exploring a muted palette.” Image Credit: Alex Proba ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.5/10 - Popularity: 13% | Activity: 9% | Freshness: 22% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Color-inspired Design:** The Aurora collection by Alex Proba highlights the trend of color-inspired design in tile collections. - **Muted Palette Exploration:** Proba's exploration of muted palettes reflects a trend towards subdued color schemes in tile manufacturing. - **Artistic Visual Influences:** The use of cured meat and cheese sandwiches as visual inspiration sets a trend for incorporating unique artistic influences in tile design. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Interior Design:** The interior design industry can leverage the trend of color-inspired design to create visually captivating spaces with innovative tile collections. - **Home Decor:** In the home decor sector, there is an opportunity to tap into the trend of muted palette exploration to offer products that cater to consumers seeking sophisticated color options. - **Artisanal Furniture:** Artisanal furniture makers can explore the trend of using artistic visual influences, like food, to infuse creativity and uniqueness into their tile designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dynamic Outdoor Tile Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/outercl.md) - [Earthly Toned Tile Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/earthly-toned-tile.md) - [Retro Colorful Tile Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frequency-collection.md) - [Vintage Graphics-Inspired Tile Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tile-collections.md) - [Cinematic-Inspired Terrazo Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/night-palm-x-stealing-beauty.md) - [Embellished Patterned Tile Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lili-tile.md) - [Luminous Tile Art Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/balera-collection.md) - [Ombre Effect Tile Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/melange.md) - [Italian Interior Tile Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-tile.md)
