# Spy Camera Clothing Thanko Button Makes You as Sexy & Skilled as James Bond By Andrew Robichaud | Published 2009-07-04 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/thanko-button-spy-camera References: [coolbuzz.org](http://www.coolbuzz.org/entry/spy-button-camera-turns-regular-attire-into-a-spy-gadget/) & [geekstuff4u](http://www.geekstuff4u.com/thanko-spy-button-camera-pinhole.html) You may be standing directly in front of a camera and never know. That’s the point of the Thanko Button Spy Camera. It’s a [small chic accessory](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plaud-notepin) (that no one will probably even notice) that replaces a button on your shirt in order to [capture all the surrounding events](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/window-camera). The device features a 4GB memory card and can record video (duh) as well as take still shots (in case you need to analyze a photo in the lab). The [wireless ring](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stream-ring) (more hot fashion) that comes with it can control the actions you wish the camera to perform without playing with the button while undercover. I bet every button up shirt now has an awkward suspicion about it. Be careful not to stare. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.8/10 - Popularity: 46% | Activity: 60% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Hidden Camera Technology:** The rise of hidden camera accessories like the Thanko Button Spy Camera creates opportunities for innovative surveillance solutions in various industries. - **Fashionable Spy Gadgets:** The integration of spy cameras into stylish accessories, such as the Thanko Button Spy Camera, presents disruptive innovation possibilities in the fashion industry. - **Unobtrusive Surveillance Devices:** Devices like the Thanko Button Spy Camera highlight the demand for inconspicuous surveillance tools, opening doors for disruptive advancements in the security industry. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Security:** The Thanko Button Spy Camera showcases potential for disruptive innovation in the security industry, specifically in undercover surveillance and hidden security measures. - **Fashion:** The fusion of spy camera technology with fashionable accessories, as seen in the Thanko Button Spy Camera, offers opportunities for disruptive innovation in the fashion industry's wearable tech segment. - **Consumer Electronics:** The emergence of discrete spy gadgets like the Thanko Button Spy Camera presents possibilities for disruptive innovation in the consumer electronics market, focusing on covert recording and surveillance devices. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Hidden Camera Detector Keychains](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-hidden-camera-detector.md) - [Handsfree Miniature Wearable Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dji-osmo-nano.md) - [Camera-Equipped Exercise Vests](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-urban-eyes-vest.md) - [Mac-Based Surveillance Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spycam.md) - [Attachable Eyewear Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spatial-video-camera.md) - [Point-and-Shoot-Inspired Action Cams](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sony-cybershot.md) - [Decor-Inspired Security Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mini-home-camera.md) - [Wearable Voice Recorders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mindclip.md) - [Adorable Mini Instant Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retro-digital-toy-camera.md)
