'Lanzavecchia + Wai' is the company owned by designers Francesca Lanzavecchia and Hunn Wai -- the creators behind a collection of test tube glassware.

The team brings together a number of inspirations in their work, looking to make products that feature a sleek and functional design while also making use of [unconventional shapes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/juno-and-mars). The collection of test tube glassware therefore intermingles scientific structures and traditional household objects.

Each item is made with care, using hand-blowing techniques for a high-quality design that can't be found anywhere else. [Glasses and decanters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whiskey-decanters) are offered in either blue borosilicate or a completely transparent variation. The collection was said to be created in order to celebrate water, with Lanzavecchia + Wai referring to it as "the most precious element that sustains life on earth."
