Tesseract is poised as a "dice manipulation game" for one to four players at a time. Each round takes under two hours, but approximately one full hour. Throughout the game, players are tasked with working together to remove, adjust, and contain cubes from the Tesseract, the large block of cubes in the center of the board game. Each cube contains a different set of glyphs that host their own challenges to be stabilized. Each turn, a player may remove a cube from the tesseract, rotate the cube as they please, and move a cube from one research lab to another.
