[Glass containers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tuloa) under these terrarium lamps are hollow and inserted to include plants. While some of her designs are more simple -- featuring only a few leaves inserted into the lamps -- others are more complex. One lamp includes soil and rocks with a few different plants coming out of them, while another has been inserted with flowers. The best aspect of this lamp is the fact that the owner can customize the terrarium to their own liking and allow for a more [fashionable, minimalist look](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-table-light) or for something that looks more like a miniature ecosystem. The glass area of the lamp can even be used for other creative purposes, although the terrarium aspect of the lamp is especially unique. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.9/10 - Popularity: 48% | Activity: 61% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Customizable Terrariums:** Opportunity to create personalized terrariums within lamps, allowing for individual expression and creative designs. - **Fashionable Minimalism:** Opportunity to design terrarium lamps with sleek, minimalistic aesthetics to match modern interior design trends. - **Miniature Ecosystems:** Opportunity to create terrarium lamps that mimic natural environments, providing a glimpse into the beauty of nature within a compact space. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunities for incorporating terrarium lamps as unique and customizable decor pieces in the home. - **Interior Design:** Opportunity for interior designers to integrate terrarium lamps into their projects, adding a touch of greenery and natural beauty to spaces. - **Garden Supply:** Opportunity for garden supply companies to expand their product offerings by incorporating terrarium lamps, providing customers with a unique way to display and grow plants. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Plant-Inspired Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/palmetto-lamp.md) - [Eco-Friendly Textured Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/terra-lamp-series.md) - [Self-Watering Multifunctional Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grow-lamp.md) - [Naturalistic Biophilic Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bioo-lamp.md) - [Demure Dual-Function Hanging Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-fixture-planter.md) - [Earthy Terracotta Tablet Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/terralume-table-lamp.md) - [Money Plant-Inspired Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pilea-lamp.md) - [Glowing Organic-Waste Sustainable Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lanova-terra.md) - [Ecological Dual Lampshade Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-light.md)
