The totally modern and elegant nature-inspired light is an awesome piece of contemporary decor. The lamp itself is very luminous and uses a sensor to turn on. The piece is built out of two beautiful types of wood, maple and walnut. The lampshade for the piece resembles a glass jar, which has soil and cactus like plant at the bottom. Terrariums have really made a comeback and are an easy way to spruce up any space. These designers incorporated this fun craze into a more useful piece for the home. This light fixture may simple but it's totally suave. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.3/10 - Popularity: 70% | Activity: 81% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Eco-friendly Lighting:** The Terrarium Lamp showcases the trend of eco-friendly lighting by incorporating natural elements like wood and live plants. - **Nature-inspired Decor:** The Terrarium Lamp taps into the trend of nature-inspired decor with its elegant design that resembles a glass jar filled with a cactus-like plant and soil. - **Terrarium Craze:** The Terrarium Lamp capitalizes on the popular trend of terrariums by offering a functional home decor piece that incorporates the fun and aesthetics of mini-ecosystems. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Interior Design:** The Terrarium Lamp presents disruptive innovation opportunities for the interior design industry by combining lighting functionality with artistic elements inspired by nature. - **Sustainable Living:** The Terrarium Lamp aligns with the sustainable living industry by offering an eco-friendly lighting solution that incorporates live plants and natural materials. - **Home Decor:** The Terrarium Lamp introduces a unique and trendy lighting option that adds a touch of nature to home decor, providing disruptive innovation opportunities within the industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Earthy Terracotta Tablet Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/terralume-table-lamp.md) - [Eco-Friendly Textured Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/terra-lamp-series.md) - [Ecological Dual Lampshade Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-light.md) - [Glowing Organic-Waste Sustainable Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lanova-terra.md) - [Naturalistic Biophilic Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bioo-lamp.md) - [Plant-Based Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plantbased-lamp.md) - [Scenic Architecture Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/architecture-inspired-table-lamp.md) - [Posh Plant-Supporting Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ample-plant-light-n1.md) - [Plant-Inspired Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/palmetto-lamp.md)
